FY 2016 Appropriation

The History Projects Program administers state-funded grants to various organizations, as per statutory mandate, and pass-through grants funded by the Legislature.

Depending on funding, projects may include preservation, education, cemetery digitization, oral histories, archaeological study, public programs, and the Utah History Fair.

During the 2015 General Session, the Legislature appropriated for Fiscal Year 2016, $25,000 from all sources for History Projects and Grants. This is a 0 percent change from Fiscal Year 2015 revised estimated amounts from all sources. The total includes $25,000 from the General/Education Funds, a change of 0 percent from revised Fiscal Year 2015 estimates.
